About Me
I'm a backend-focused engineer based in Toronto with 3+ years building software other people depend on. APIs, cloud services, and the testing and automation that keep them honest.
My work has spanned an AI policy intelligence startup at OpenPolicy, public sector systems at the Government of Ontario, and production platforms at Affimintus Technologies, across Java, Python, Node, and TypeScript. The priorities stay the same wherever I've worked: services that stay up, code the next person can read, and tests that actually mean something.
I graduated from Seneca Polytechnic with a 3.6 GPA Honours in Computer Programming & Analysis. I also spent nearly two years teaching kids to code at Code Ninjas and Ultimate Coders, which is a good way to stay sharp on fundamentals.
Outside of work I'm usually speedrunning Resident Evil 4 or diving into whatever new tech caught my attention that week.
Production backend thinking: API design, cloud infrastructure, testing discipline, and CI/CD automation.
